A1: All materials shipped are supplied with an MTC test report. Precision spring/bearing steel strip (hardened high-carbon steel) is generally offered in 3 tolerance tiers: (1) Standard commercial-grade (annealed, non-precision-rolled): ±0.03-±0.05mm, suitable for low-speed, low-precision blanking; (2) Precision stamping grade (precision-rolled, polished blue strip for high-volume small-punch tooling): ±0.01-±0.02mm, the preferred choice for high-speed continuous stamping, with uniform thickness and stable, chip-resistant burr control; (3) Ultra-precision ultra-thin spring strip (0.08mm and below): tolerance as tight as ±0.003-±0.005mm, for micro electronic spring contacts.
Q2: How do you ensure batch traceability?
A2: Every coil's outer packaging carries a label specifying steel grade, dimensions, surface color, net weight, production date and a QR-coded batch number. The batch number can be traced back to production date, equipment, operator and in-process production records for full traceability.
Q3: What testing equipment do you use?
A3: Various hardness testers, German SPECTRO optical emission spectrometer, Zeiss microscope, tensile testing machine, salt spray test chamber, among others.
Q4: What edge conditions are available?
A4: Mill edge, slit edge, square edge with rounded corners, full rounded edge, or per customer requirements.
Q5: What hardness levels can you provide?
A5: Hardness is customized to customer requirements, up to a maximum of 60 HRC (Rockwell).
